Monday Night Football Chat at 5:30pm EST
Q: Don Coleman Judd, enjoy your columns on VI. Should I be concern that Manning won't have the service of Gonzalez? I just feel like Indy's offense will not have an easy time against the run in Miami and I am leaning towards taking the home 'dog in this spot as of now. Thanks and best of luck. R: judd Good afternoon everyone and welcome to our MNF chat session. Let's see what we can find out before kickoff. Losing Gonzalez is tough as he is one of the more solid No. 2 receivers in the league. Yet it won't be too big of an issue with Austin Collie standing in his place. Collie is roughly the same size. He only had two catches last week, but both were for first downs...one of which converted a third down. It was a so-so weekend for the home pups, going 2-2 SU and ATS. What I would say is go for the 'under' as it is 3-1 in those spots. Q: John (Atlanta) Yo Judd. I expect a low scoring battle tonight in Miami. Miami could only manage 1 TD last week while Indy managed only 2 TDs. I am seeing 10-7, 14-3 or 20-0 type of game. Thoughts? R: judd Hey John I'm in agreement with the 'under' on this side. There was nothing that I saw in the Dolphins' first game that could see them score more than two touchdowns tonight. Indy could have some success moving the ball with Dallas Clark though. He'll be matched up with Channing Crowder most likely this evening. And I don't believe Crowder will be able to handle Clark for the long haul. Don't be surprised to see a lot of third down conversions from this battle. That means we'll get some TD that were grinded out by the Colts. |
