Q: Braden (Boise) Hey Judd, Yesterday was a nice surprise for some teams. The big favorites didn't cover and seemed they had a hard time. I think the Colts will look at yesterdays games and know they can't afford to play that bad. I know it is still early in the season But I think the Colts by ten.??
R: judd Hi everyone,

It's great to be here with you for MNF chat and hopefully will have this one go off without a hitch.

There were a couple of problem children out there on the betting landscape with the Vikings needing some time to get rolling in Detroit. Still not sure what in the blue hell that Jim Zorn was thinking yesterday, but to each their own.

I look at the Colts and I see a team that was sluggish in their win vs. Jacksonville in Week 1.

Some will say that the loss of Anthony Gonzalez is too hard to overcome. I believe Manning will call on Dallas Drake a lot in lieu of the former Buckeye.

The Colts' D will have its issues with the wildcat offense, but I see Indy winning by a touchdown.

Q: Don, Chicago The Bears should be 2-0. What do you think about their chances to win the NFC North?
R: judd Hi Don

The difference between Weeks 1 and 2 for Jay Cutler were immense. Biggest one was he didn't throw a pick against the Steelers.

Now that he has his head about him, I look for the Bears to do well. When you look at their schedule, you can see that they should have four wins in their next six games. That'll yield us some chances to back them on the spread. As far as the divisional games, the bulk of them are at the end of the season. They'll probably be in a fight with the Packers at the end of the year. But I'll take Chicago facing the Lions to win the division over Green Bay in Arizona.

Q: Randall; Mississippi How you feel about dolphins plus 3 and over 42? I think dolphins show out in south miami.
R: judd Hey Randall

Not too keen on the Dolphins here as they're horrible as home 'dogs. How bad? They're 2-7-1 against the spread dating back to the Cam Cameron Error of 2007.

As far as the total, I look at Indy and Miami both grinding it out tonight.

The Colts will use Addai and Brown on the ground, with Clark on short passes. Then the 'Fins are going to make use of the wildcat offense.

The weather report is showing 30% chance of showers, which might as well be 85% for South Florida at this time of year.

Regardless of weather, we should look for a combined score in the low 30s.

Q: Bucky, Tucson My Cardinals looked really good yesterday against the Jags. What do you think about them against Indy next week? Thanks.
R: judd Hi Bucky

Kurt Warner sure didn't look like the old man that was under center in Week 1, right?

I believe the Cards will give Indy fits in the secondary...especially if Bob Sanders is out of the lineup.

Fitzgerald, Boldin and company will be able to pick them apart little by little or on the deep ball.

Plus, I don't think Arizona's defense isn't getting the love it should. Darnell Dockett is a beast on the line and Chike Okeafor is a nice cog as well.

Add in the short week for a primetime tilt and the Colts are a fade in Week 3.

Q: jake . (dc) hey judd just looking for your take the last six or so matchups have all gone over 45 so with that stat do you still see a low scoring game, also with the lack luster d's between the two, just looking for your view on this
R: judd Hey Jake

The 'over' has actually hit in four of the last five head-to-head meetings. And those games went the way they did because of either being in the RCA Dome or in pristine conditions in South Florida.

The weather will be alright tonight from what I've seen on weather.com.

Take a look at the 'under' though because we're going to see short passing out of Indy and a lot of running from the Dolphins.

Q: Jerry(San Diego) Hi Judd. Why is the line for Indy so low??? Miami played terrible last week. Shouldn't the line be around 6-7 pt? and the O/U is real low too. I understand that it might rain, but doesn't that cause more fumbles and more scores? Thanks. GL everyone!!!
R: judd Hi Jerry

I understand your thinking on the more fumbles=more scores. But worse conditions also mean teams are going to be more prone to playing it close to the vest.

Remember a few years back when the Dolphins played in a mud pit at Pittsburgh that ended in a 3-0 loss? It can happen.

If they were playing this game in Indy, the Colts would be seven-point home faves. But you've got them coming into Miami after looking slow in a win against the Jags. I believe the line is right where it should be.

Alright guys, It's been a blast but we need to get ready for the game. Good luck to everyone and you can always reach me via e-mail at judd@vegasinsider.com.
