Vegasinsider.com handicappers give you the inside line on the weekends action and their top picks for the week.

Q: Ross K (Tampa) Hi Kevin, How have you been? I got my ass kicked when Colorado produced a heart-breaking backdoor cover last night. Do you see another one like that tonight? I like the Cards +7 a lot. Any help is appreciated. Need to bounce back in a big way bro. Also like BYU -23 in this spot. Ross
R: krogers Hope everybody is having a great afternoon. Let's get this started.

Hey Ross, the tide turned several times in the final quarter of the CU/WVU game last night, as the 'under' was close to hitting until the late Buffs' touchdown. As far as tonight goes, I like Louisville getting the points here. Steve Kragthorpe has not been successful with the Cards, but they get the national TV spotlight tonight against a good Pitt team. I don't feel comfortable laying the points with BYU tonight, I think Utah State can keep it close and stay within the points.

Q: Patrick (charlotte, NC) where can I bet the moneyline for UTAH ST I have a crazy feeling they might pull it off tonight...and dont you think all online sportsbooks should have moneylines up no matter how big the spread because the moneyline exsits no matter how big the spread...and finally how bad do you think I'm wrong to expect UTAH ST to win?
R: krogers Hey Patrick. You can get Utah State tonight +1300 if you feel good about the Aggies winning straight-up over BYU. I understand why the books don't put moneylines on games that have too high of a line for protection purposes. Think about in the last couple years, when Syracuse won as a 40-point dog at Louisville, and Stanford upsetting USC. As far as tonight's game goes, I'd feel better about the points than Utah State SU, but best of luck with the Aggies.

Q: JB (Wilmington) Georgia Tech routed Miss St. last year in the ATL, will the result be any different tomorrow in Starkville?
R: krogers Hey JB. This is one of the more intriguing matchups on the card Saturday. The biggest question I have is the motivation for Miss State. Following the devastating loss to LSU, do the Bulldogs bounce back? Miss State has done a great job shutting down the run the last two games, holding LSU and Vandy to under 80 yards combined. Georgia Tech's rushing attack is obviously solid, but to lay almost a touchdown on the road against an SEC team is tough. I'd lean towards the home dog and the Bulldogs.

Q: Jason (Little Rock) Kevin, appreciate you doing this today. I like the Auburn-Tennessee Under 52. I believe UT will be able to cram Hardesty and Brown down the Tigers' throats and there is no way Auburn's offense doesn't feel the effects of their first road game vs. a much stouter D than they've seen. Maybe a little parlay on UT with the under??? Good Luck this weekend!
R: krogers Hey Jason. I really like this play. Tennessee has no faith in QB Jonathan Crompton, as they have tried to grind it out on the ground. Auburn has been tearing it up in the ground game, as Monte Kiffin will have a tall order to try and slow down the Tigers. I don't have much faith in the Vols' offense, as this game could see the winner score no more than 24 points. I don't have much of an opinion on the side, but the 'under' seems like the better play here.

Q: Chuck Hi Kevin, question on NFL sunday please. I have this 3-team parlay, will I cash? Houston(-9) + Tennessee (-3) + NY Giants -9 Best of luck, Chuck
R: krogers Hey Chuck. I do like the Tennessee play. It seems like a huge public play, but it's hard for me to see the Titans start 0-4, especially with the Pats and Colts coming up on Tennessee's schedule.
It's a lot of points to lay with the Texans, but seeing how inept Oakland is offensively, it's tough to think how they will keep up with Houston's offense. Also, I don't see the Texans starting 0-3 at home. It just depends on if they can cover this number.
The Giants dominated the Bucs last week, and I don't see the Chiefs as a formidable foe. New York has been great under Tom Coughlin on the road, especially as a favorite.

Q: Jerry(San Diego) Hi Kevin, Pitts loss 2 in a row while the bolts are doing pretty good. Pitts giving 6-7 pts. isn't it a little high? they are playing at home and they gotz their D back butttttt.......your opinion on this game please. I would grade pitts -3.5 playing at home against the bolts personally. Also Balt v. N.E. what a great game it will be....it's a toss up game..... Balt is better on the D side. Brady coming off a loss. N.E probably not too happy at this point. Kevin, you think Balt could put off a close win here or is the N.E. gonna spank the ravens? Thanks for you time. GL everyone!
R: krogers Hey Jerry. I actually have the Chargers/Steelers game in my pick pack as my Guaranteed Play. As far as the Ravens/Pats game goes, I will side with Baltimore here. The Pats have not looked sharp this season, and finally played well against an Atlanta team that played its first game outside the Georgia Dome. Baltimore's offense is crisp, despite facing Kansas City and Cleveland. I do think the Ravens pull out the road win.

Q: Bill Stipe Hi Kevin, like Northern Illinois -7.5 and Northwestern +7.5 this weekend. Your take on these games please?
R: krogers Hey Bill. Northern Illinois was disappointing last week after their upset at Purdue. NIU was tripped up buy Idaho as 15-point home chalk. With that being said, Western Michigan has not been impressive, beating a bad Miami (Ohio) team and Hofstra, while losing on the road at Michigan to Indiana. I do think the Huskies bounce back.

As far as Northwestern goes, Purdue has been a tough team to gauge. The Boilermakers played well against Oregon and Notre Dame, covering in SU losses, but struggled against NIU. Northwestern stubbed their toe the last two weeks as favorites against Syracuse and Minnesota, but owns better defensive numbers than Purdue. I'm with you on the Wildcats and the points.

Q: memphis thanks for the time. any ideas on the minnesota wiskey game. liking the gophers but the line keeps moving.
R: krogers Hey Memphis. Wisconsin has been fortunate so far this season, picking up the OT win over Fresno, while forcing four turnovers against Michigan State last week. Minnesota is coming off the road win over Northwestern, and has plenty of revenge on their minds. The Gophers have lost five straight meetings with the Badgers, but I like Minnesota in this one.

Q: Eric Chiu What's up Kevin? I like this week's card. Few plays that I like but need help pulling the trigger: I like Utah St +23 tonight, also like New England -2@home, Seattle +11 on road against Indy.
R: krogers Hey Eric. I do like the points with Utah State tonight, as the Aggies can definitely hang with BYU. As far as the NFL plays go, I see Baltimore beating New England, as John Harbaugh is 17-5 ATS in his tenure with the Ravens. It is a lot of points for the Colts to cover, but the Seahawks will be without Matt Hasselbeck and Walter Jones. I don't see Seattle being able to score with Indianapolis.

Q: el wayno, tampa hi kevein..looks like all the money movement has been on michigan st. vs mich...how do you see this affair turning out? is MICH.ST ride side to be on here ?
R: krogers Hey Wayno, It makes you wonder why the Spartans are favored in this game, as the Wolverines have been more impressive out of the gate. But, there's probably a reason for it. Michigan did come out on top in a pair of wild games against Indiana and Notre Dame, so maybe their 4-0 mark is a bit deceiving. I do think the Spartans rebound and win this game.

Q: Jimmy (Boston) Hey Kevin, do you expect a low-scoring game tonight between Lousville and Pittsburgh? Lousville and the Under?
R: krogers Hey Jimmy. Since Bobby Petrino left, the Cardinals are not the scoring juggernaut that we're used to. In Louisville's two lined games this season, the Cards have scored a combined 41 points. Pitt can definitely put up the points, but my biggest fear with the 'over' is on Louisville. I definitely don't trust Pitt as a road favorite here. L'ville and the 'under' look like the way to go.

Thanks a lot to everyone for their questions, and best of luck this weekend. Don't forget to check out my College Football Picks for this Saturday.
