Q: tom Judd, what do you think about the Monday game? i like the minn, i think Brett is going run all over the cheese head. for not taken hime back.
R: judd Hi everyone and thanks for being here for our Monday Night Football chat. Let's find oursevles a winner.

A lot of people believe that Favre is going to be picked off a lot because Green Bay's defense knows him so well.

I'm not in that group because that the Packers' secondary knows just how unpredictable Favre can be at QB. Don't expect him to run too much with Peterson in the backfield. Favre has just one rushing yard this season.ONE!

Q: T (L.A) I had a great weekend. Looking to take some of the profits I made and find a nice prop bet for MNF. The over for sacks (5) looks solid right? The Packers O-Line is rubbish. That and I figure the Packers D want to put pressure on Favre and sack him a few times.
R: judd What's up, T!

Glad to hear you had a great weekend. I did as well, going 3-0 with my NFL picks...Have another winner up for tonight's game.

As for the sacks prop, you're on the smart side with 'over' five for the night. Aaron Rodgers has been sacked four times per game so far this year. Favre has been brought down nine times.

Green Bay's defense has been exposed a few times already on the edges to be a little soft. Jared Allen will no doubt feast on that issue tonight. Meanwhile, Favre will move out of the pocket a lot of times where he'll be within three white shirts. I'm kind of surprised this total wasn't around seven or eight for tonight.

Q: andy ,Birming ham hi, JH, i like minnesota tonight, and the under, what your idea on that game, thanks for take my question
R: judd Hey Andy!

It's hard not to like the Vikes in this spot with a rocking Metrodome and a defense that is tough to beat. Not so set on the 'under' for this game though. There is a lot to be said of the improv skills that both Rodgers and Favre possess. Plus, you've got Adrian Peterson sitting back there with the ability to break off a 60 yard score at any time. I'd lean on the 'over' since it is 3-1 this season. Only thing is this on will actually be a legit total hit.

Q: Tom (Chicago) hey judd....few people like the over tonight. however, div game it will be tight and look at the stats farve isn't throwing bombs its all short yardage passing and we all know childress will play to the vest and lean on AP, don't buy into the espn favre throws bombs and wants to destroy packers story line. i like under and i like underdog here. best of luck everyone.
R: judd I could understand taking the 'dogs tonight since almost 3/4 of the money at Sportsbook.com is going on Minnesota to cover. It's not a bad move to go against the public. What I'd let you know is that the faves went 9-4 ATS yesterday, which is a very profitable day for the squares.

Q: Don Coleman Will Favre want to play well to prove to the world that he's still strong and that the Packs made mistake releasing him? This game is easy to handicap, lay the points with the home team. Take care.
R: judd Howdy Don!

I believe that Favre mentioned to Peter King that he wanted to stick it to Packer GM Ted Thompson. During the last week, he backed off of that. I don't but it though; he wants to kill the Packers if he can.

Do I expect Favre to come out firing? Yes and no. Yes, to him wanting to pick on the Pack's secondary. Yet he's not going to get that many chances because of the running game behind him.

Q: Teddy Yo Judd, how is it going buddy? Listen, what's your take on ESPN trying to hype this game? I think Rodgers is much stronger than Favre this time around, but does he have time to throw the ball? I am thinking a play on GB+4.5 tonight, so please help.
R: judd What's up, Teddy!

Rodgers is no doubt a stronger player just on the youth aspect, but don't sell Favre short here.

The ol' gunslinger has essentially been taught a new trick this year as he's essentially a game manager. That's because he's actually got a ground game that can win games.

If the Vikes win tonight, it will be because of the throws Favre didn't try, opting to run instead.

Q: Joey, Aurora, IL What's up with the Zookster benching Juice? How long do you think it will last, and will he play against Michigan State at all? Thanks.
R: judd Hey, Joey!

Always time to answer a college question.

I wouldn't be too worried about Juice Williams getting benched. McGee isn't a bad QB (remember that he almost led that comeback a year ago vs. Mizzou). This offense is more tailored to Juice's strengths and I see coming back under center midway through the second quarter, or start the third quarter at the latest.

Q: Chris (Scottsdale) what do you think about the kicking game? GB has struggled with the run which could mean a tough time finishing drives. And honestly if Minn doesnt have an alternative for Peterson if GB puts 9 in the box. Kickers could go off.
R: judd Hey Chris!

That's a great point with kickers. Crosby is a striker that has great accuracy from 40 yards and longer (23-36 for his career). He'll definitely come into play tonight because of Minnesota's defense.

As for the Vikes, Longwell is a career 70 percent from 40 and beyond. But I believe Minnesota's offensive line will be able to give Peterson just enough openings to make a difference.

Q: Billy, Tulsa What surprised you more on Sunday, the Titans not winning or the Bengals not covering? Thanks.
R: judd Hey Billy,

I'd have to go with the Titans not winning. I just can't figure out how that team isn't winning right now.

Cincy failing to cover actually was a system play Kevin Rogers found late last week. You play on any home pups that are coming off of a loss on the road by 21 or more points. Cleveland fell into that spot perfectly and almost got the outright win.

The trend is now 27-13 ATS. You can use that one again this week with the Rams agaisnt Minnesota as a 10-point home 'dogs.

Q: Canterbury Ok, this week all the locks i thought would hit missed and missed big. What is going on with the Titans and the Cowboys? Tonight I love the Vikings at home giving 5. Is this a good bet or am i way off?
R: judd As far as the Titans, I'd have to take a look at their secondary. They let David Garrard have his way yesterday. I'm going to say it's going to be worse this weekend against Indy.

This past weekend in Denver, Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett was the problem. There were too many spots (particularly on the final drive) that Romo should have had the ball in the end zone. Although Romo should shoulder a lot of the blame because of getting sacked five times and guiding an attack that moved the chains just three times on 14 chances.

Q: Andrew The books need Packers to win tonight. Will they get it? GB+Over seems like a play for the night with emphasis on the side. Thoughts?
R: judd Hey Andrew,

I agree with the 'books needing the Pack to win tonight given how many favorites won yesterday. They're still playing a bit of catch up from Saturday.

Not sure they'll get their way tonight with Minnesota though. I'm on the 'over' here as well since it has hit three times already this season on MNF and cashed a lot last year as well.

That will do it for me tonight.

Thanks for eveyone being here. Great questions. Good luck on your plays tonight. Hope you're all profitable!
