Hi Eric I think we're starting to see Nevada turn the corner after week's big 4th quarter against UNLV. Before this victory, the Pack couldn't hold onto the football. If they don't mistakes, they're a very good football team. You can't handicap turnovers, but Nevada is the better team tonight. As far as VT goes...the line is high but for a reason. I'm not sold on the Hokies or anybody in the ACC... Fresno looks like the play, and I like to back teams that can run the football. Q: Tim (Chicago) Yo Chris, thanks for taking my question. I kinda like Dallas -8.5 this week to cover on the road. However, Kankas City is 0-4 both SU and ATS so far this season, do you think it's time to get on them instead? What's your best underdog pick for Sunday? R: chrisd Be careful with the Cowboys this weekend. Kansas City isn't a great team and Dallas would probably win eight out of 10 but Tony Romo and the offense has no identity right now. Teams that are 0-4 and at home are hitting over 65% ATS in Game 5.... Q: Ryan in Spokane Chris, thanks for chatting today! Illinois' defense is garbage and I would expect MSU to run and pass wild but looks too easy. Oregon State needs to get its offense going, which is asking a lot with a banged-up signal caller. Q: Luis Hey Chris, quick question. Gators to win by a margin this weeke regardless of Tebow's situation? What do you think about the total for the game? Best of luck this weekend, Luis R: chrisd Hi Luis Tebow gets all the press at Florida but the defense is arguably the best in the country. And, LSU's offense is ranked dead-last in the SEC folks! The 'under' is easily the play in this game and I can see UF winning with or without Tebow, just on the D factor. Q: KINDCITY Chris first thanks for taking the time with us today. Looking at a small play tonite with Nevada finally getting the offense going, and QB K finally using his feet. As for the NFL Cheifs, Eagles, Giants, Colts, and SF all covers...your thoughts THANKS! R: chrisd Coach Ault and his offense blew up last week but they needed some big plays late. I do like the 'over' a little bit tonight. La Tech's inconsistent offense scares me a little bit but it should get there. Q: Don Coleman i like few nfl plays so please help: lions +10.5 (lions let me down last week but they'll get it done this time), titans +4 vs colts (can't see titans 0-5 at all),giants -16 (best team in nfl this season, they will win by at least 3 tds) thanks chris. R: chrisd I like the Titans the best out of all of them. The Colts might be looking good but they won by 2 and 4 against quality teams in Jax and Miami, the Cards aren't playing good right now. I think the Titans are due to play a good game and will treat this as there last chance to make a run. I wouldn't take ML but the points look generous. I tossed them into a 3-team teaser (which I never win) and need them at -1/2....I expect to win that game and then move along. Q: DJ (Henderson) Chris, what everybody forgets about the NEV/UNLV game is that it was 35-28 after 3 quarters. Nevada's defense is giving up a lot of points, a little over 4 TD's a game. L. Tech has played solid defense the last two weeks. I like L. Tech tonight especially with the extra days to prepare for the long trip. Your thoughts? R: chrisd Hi DJ I did mention that Nevada had a huge 4th quarter. By no means is its defense good but the offense can score and I don't see La Tech matching points. Others would say, Bellichick taught Josh everything he knows..I like Pats this weekend. R: chrisd This is a tough game to handicap and a lot of people expect Denver to be exposed, especially the betting public. The Broncos are playing with confidence and the trends favor the home team. Denver has gone 11-2 straight up and 10-3 ATS against the Pats. Q: Sammy in Tampa Hey Chris, Got a burning question. Why is Arizona -4 over the Washington when the Huskies are at home. They did beat USC last at home. They have a good coach, QB... What am i missing here, as i think the Huskies should win this game easily. R: chrisd Hi Sammy Arizona is off a bye and UW is off a real tough overtime road loss. You would expect the Huskies to be spent in this spot and hard to get up for this one. Which makes me beleive 'Zona can get in there and get the outright win! Q: memphis hey Chris, my best bet is Toledo. love the little guys everyone overlooks. Am I crazy? have a great weekend. R: chrisd That's a nice play. WMU was expected to be a contender in the MAC this year, along with CMU and it just hasn't lived up to expectations. Hiller should've went pro last year. The only issue I have with the Golden Rockets is their defense, which hasn't been able to hold a team under 30 points. You hate to lay points with such a bad unit. Good Luck though! Now last weekend I got bent over, however that was mostly due to letting a friday nite bachelor party not end till Monday morning I was betting blind and heavily intoxicated. Which I will NEVER do again as I swiftly lost over 5dimes! Ok I'm seeing to much value on the boards this week but I have some feelings and would love/appreciate your professional advice, here's what I'm looking at. Moneyline Indiana, can Va really put forth the same defensive proformance again against an offense that want to come out firing after a disapointing effort last week looking a firing a dime here? Alabama's defense did not look as strong as I thought it might be against Ky, Ole Miss has had some time to get that offense going and stopped Tn only offense(the RUN, CROMPTON SUCKS! I used to bleed orange) I see Ole Miss at worse covering in the last minutes of the game. Florida even without Tebow I think they have the best defense in the country without Tebow they win by 10, with a 85% Tebow they win by 14. Tex El smacks down a sinking ship in Memphis. And lastly and hardest of all Crompton and his sorry wide receivers lose at home AGAIN. Your Thoughts & HELP, I need a huge weekend. Good luck all and thanks for your time Chris! Q: Anthony (NY) I don't get it Chris. Utah St as double digits favorite on the road? I like Stanford tomorrow. You? R: chrisd New Mexico State is one of the worst teams in the country. But I'm not laying with Utah State here... The Stanford style (run and defense) really helps the 'under' cash and it's 3-1-1 so far. Back-to-back road games are nice tests for the Cardinal. Q: jerry(San Diego) Hi Chris. Sunday night game. A 4-0 team vs. 0-4 team and favored by 4. Indy is such a better team overall and should easily covered? Monday night game. Jets who just got the best receiver from Cleveland and favored by 2??? Jets lost last week to a very good team, but overall their offense and defense is still very good compare to Miami.
